HiVE GoFundMe campaign

We’re Almost ½ Way to Making the HiVE Accessible

Our favourite meetup hosts at the Hive need our help! There are 30 giant stairs standing in the way of making our events accessible to the whole community. Give them a  lift – literally! – by helping them buy a platform lift elevator.

We’ve already raised $11,715 and once we get to $12,500 we’ll open up opportunities for matching donations from other major donors.

Please give today and share this with other amazing people like you! We just need $785 more to show major funders how serious we are about making the HiVE accessible.

Why donate? Because accessibility looks good on everyone. And because the HiVE has been donating their venue to Net2van for the last four years – which has allowed us to bring free events to you every month!

P.S. We’re so excited about this campaign that the Net2van co-organizers have committed to matching your donations up to $2,000.

New Meetup: Vancouver Salesforce nonprofit user group

Please join me at the first gathering of the Vancouver Nonprofit Salesforce User Group.

RSVP http://salesforcevancouver.eventbrite.com

This group is for anyone at any level using Salesforce in the nonprofit, education or social entrepreneur sectors.
Or even for those are aren’t using it yet, but are merely curious. We’ll be talking about CRM (customer relationship management) issues in general too.

This is your meetup, so the first meeting will be an informal discussion that will allow us to figure out the needs of the nonprofit community and determine what you want from a Salesforce meetup.

And while you’re waiting for the meetup to start why not apply for the Salesforce Foundation software grant?

We encourage neophytes to seasoned developers to share information with the larger community.
What’s working for you? What’s a struggle? What would you want to get out of a Salesforce meetup?

P.S. We’ll supply snacks courtesy of the Salesforce Foundation. (yay!)
