The Workshop:

Are you the privacy officer at your organization?  You’ve heard about anti-spam – now let’s look at whether your privacy policy and practices are PIPA compliant.

When was the last time you looked at your privacy policy?  If it’s been while, bring it along to this workshop and we’ll help you update it.  Learn what to look for and how to keep your organization PIPA and CASL compliant.

The Facilitator: Martha Rans is the legal director of Artists’ Legal Outreach. She has been practicing law in British Columbia since 1997, and works extensively with arts organizations, not-for-profit societies, and visual and multimedia digital artists.

Cost: Free. Space is limited.

Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel workshops if registration is too low.

Office Hours: Office Hours to follow the workshop during the week of February 23. Have a privacy question? We’ll set up a call with a privacy expert from the Information & Privacy Association.
