In this session, you will:

  • Get up to speed on what the cloud is and why it is a powerful tool for nonprofits
  • Have common questions addressed such as: is it secure? will it save me money?
  • See examples of cloud tools in action
  • Understand how to think about the “if” and “when” to use cloud computing in your organization

AND – learn about how the TechSoup Canada software donations program can help your nonprofit stay up-to-date on a limited budget. Tierney will go over the basics of how the program works, and be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Tierney is the Manager of Learning & Special Projects at TechSoup Canada, where she works to build technology capacity in the nonprofit sector. She also has experience developing software in the corporate sector and has a degree in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
