Join us on Monday, August 13 for our Changemakers Summer Potluck #CMPotluck in Stanley Park – we can eat, learn and play together. All are welcome, your colleagues, friends and family – let’s eat and find solidarity and strength in our numbers and diversity. At our 1st annual potluck, we had over 160 potluckers and ~15 partners – we wonder who will join us this year?

Date and time: 5 – 830 PM, Monday, August 13, 2018
Location: Ceperley / Second Beach Picnic Shelter, Stanley Park Dr & Lagoon Dr, Vancouver.
Event Style: Outdoor potluck picnic. Bring food and drink to share. We bring the community!
There’s no admission charge we welcome everyone, but please RSVP so we know how many people to expect.

WHAT TO BRING
The potluck is a casual outdoor celebration. We’ll have a grill going, and some plates, utensils & cups etc. (though please consider bringing your own, if it’s convenient, so we can avoid waste).

Food & Drink (for yourself and to share with a couple people)
Utensils and cups (we’d like to keep waste to a minimum)
Outdoor toys
Musical instruments, portable speakers
Beach blanket
Kiddies and elders – all welcome!

WHAT TO WEAR

Never trust the weather, especially on the beach! Bring layers, sunglasses, and an umbrella. We have a covered picnic shelter, but you never know….

ACCESSIBILITY

The Vancouver Parks Board website outlines the accessibility of their picnic areas here. The VPB / City of Vancouver have noted to us that if anyone has concerns will accessibility they are available to answer any questions either by calling 311 or reaching out to the Accessibility City program.

Interested in helping out? If you’re open to volunteering – let us know! Fun tasks include being a greeter, food organizer, setup/clean up crew or BBQer!
