This hands-on workshop builds on the lessons learned at our April 3 event “Using QuickBooks to Ensure Your Nonprofit Is Audit-Proof: Accounting for NGOs” In this free two-hour training session hosted by Enkel, we will introduce you to the fundamentals of bookkeeping, payroll and accounting for not-for-profit organizations. You will acquire basic bookkeeping skills using QuickBooks Online, including how to properly set-up your chart of accounts, how to reconcile accounts, and how to allocate funds based on projects. 1. What is QuickBooks Online, how to log in and navigate the key features
2. Set-Up including your business settings, managing users, chart of accounts and GST set up
3. Bank Feeds & Reconciliations – including online banking and allocating bank feeds
4. Customer invoicing – including creating, customising, sending and cancelling invoices
5. Supplier purchases and invoices – including billing and expenses
6. Finding and understanding common financial reports
