Neil Squire Society: Fundraising and Communications Intern

The successful Summer Jobs student will directly assist in implementing and furthering the Fundraising Plan and Communications strategy for the Neil Squire Society. They will play a key role in identifying, prioritizing, researching and applying for funding to increase the sustainability and ability of Neil Squire Society to support services for people with disabilities. As well, they will assist in creating content and supporting the distribution of information related to the services and opportunities available through the Neil Squire Society.

BC SPCA: Social Media Specialist
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about great customer service and skilled in social media to take on the full-time role of Social Media Specialist working at our provincial office in Vancouver. This position is responsible for all social media channels of the BC SPCA and works in conjunction with the Online Marketing Manager to create and implement an overall social media strategy to promote the mission of the society. This position also provides social media advice and support for program departments and for SPCA branches across the province to highlight adoptions, education, advocacy and fundraising efforts.

Prospect Management in the Raiser’s Edge

BCIT recently created new coding and documentation for a detailed system of Prospect Management using the Raiser’s Edge Prospect Module. BCIT Prospect Researcher, Robert Aucoin, will present the rationale and development of this system, with a specific technical focus toward the additional coding applied to Proposals, Actions, Attributes, and Notes to make the entire thing function.
